Dr. Karen Wixson has been selected to join the International Reading Association’s newly formed Literacy Research Panel. The panel, chaired by Dr. P. David Pearson (University of California at Berkeley), will respond to critical literacy issues facing policymakers, school administrators, teacher educators, classroom teachers, parents and the general public, according to a release. Wixson is dean of the School of Education.
