Haroldson offers weight loss tips on WFMY

Amber Haroldson, a registered dietician and a nutrition PhD student, appeared on WFMY to give viewers tips on how to set realistic goals for weight loss and and how to stick to them. A good target for many is to lose a pound or even less per week, she said, while writing out a contract and keeping a food journal can help people hold themselves accountable.

“A lot of times when we’re stressed or we’re tired, we go back to our old habits. It’s just easier,” Haroldson said. “It’s hard because a lot of people think they have to make just radical changes to their lifestyle, and that’s not true.”
